I went to Kyoto on the weekend.

Manshuin Temple was beautiful with its green maples.

Sanzenin Temple in Ohara.

After having lunch at home, we went out and

relaxedly visited the temple,

and then headed to the main event of the day, Chorakukan.

My husband had worked hard at work recently,

so we received a catalog gift from his company.

He chose a meal voucher for Chorakukan dinner.

I had always wanted to go to Chorakukan,

and the space was even more wonderful than I had imagined

I was entranced the whole time.

Before dinner, we were shown around the Chorakukan.

A Japanese-style room on the third floor that is usually closed to the public.
