The appraisal has already been completed (the other day)
(Framing work in progress now)
That day, the appraiser was
on a business trip to a "high alert prefecture"
I was there for less than two hours,
flying back and forth like a falcon
My friend who lives in Paris was also returning to Japan for the Hiroshima Summit
(Is it to support President Macron?)
"Going back and forth from Japan to France just for the summit" - what is he doing lol)
By the way
She had previously (while back in Japan) gotten the exact same Baccarat "Fuku glass" that I bought at the Adachi Museum of Art in Marunouchi
We were both surprised
I don't care about Baccarat
I want you to hang a Yong painting at the Elysee Palace as soon as possible
Let's get back to the topic (lol)
What was the appraisal result
According to the teacher,
"My average is even higher than last year."
During my time working in Nice, I was "surpassing myself" every day, so maybe I got some decent results.
However,
I'm so used to appraisals that I don't get upset no matter how big or small the numbers (price) are (lol).
So upset that the teacher
"He doesn't react. lol"
The teacher says that when appraising Yong's paintings, he "saves up his energy."
He deals with a lot of paintings with high energy, so it seems like he uses up a lot of energy.
(Backlit palm)
By the way,
As those who came to Yongjo's solo exhibition know very well,
the paintings on the shelves (even next to each other) are not all the same price.
For example, (even next to each other)
there can easily be a difference of 100,000 yen.
Why does that happen?
Let me explain.
First,
When appraising, a price is given to each painting.
I stick the price sticker directly on the back of the painting.
(It's a removable sticker, but it's still stuck on lol)
After the price is decided,
the next step is
(I do it alone)
before framing.
I completely ignore the price and "sort the paintings by category."
It's like shuffling the paintings and then sorting them with my friends.
At this point,
there is no concept of how much this painting is and how much that is.
(There are too many paintings to remember the prices one by one, after all.)
After arranging the paintings,
I'm shocked when I see the price (the price tag sticker on the back of the painting) (lol)
On the other hand,
even though I didn't intend it, paintings next to each other are the exact same price,
and I'm like, "Wow! ! !" >
I'm so impressed
(lol)
While framing, I was shocked to find that one of the apple frames was missing
(I was relieved that only one was missing)
For a moment, I thought I would have to go all the way from Edo to Hakata to get it
This year, there was not a single 5,000 yen painting
The cheapest painting was 29,000 yen
(There were some in the 30,000 yen range~)
Therefore
There will be no annual "5,000 yen painting lottery" this year!
That means
Every year, we hold a lottery contest (in the afternoon),
and many people participate every day
This year, there is no lottery,
so I think it will be really empty from the afternoon (lol)
(Note: It will be crowded on the first day)
So
If you want to take your time looking at the paintings or
if you want to talk to Yonjo,
please come in the afternoon from the second day onwards
※The paintings on the back of the frames are all the same
(Reproduction of ink painting, zodiac rabbit)
(Again, backlit)
This
When you get tired of the front, there is a back
☆We will be holding a festival in the three cities again this year
Starting next Tuesday
※Admission is free, so please come and see as many times as you like
This year's paintings will be only this year
