According to Shot, Varakin wanted to 'de-stress' after murdering Vorobyova but was mocked by Skitskaya after he failed to perform in bed.

Her cries for help were also heard by neighbours.

Police were called but when officers arrived the woman was dead from knife wounds.

There were signs of attempted beheading, said reports.

The Moscow Prosecutor's Office confirmed on Sunday it was looking into the recent murder of two women, without providing details other than that a 25-year-old woman sustained knife wounds during a dispute in a residence in western Moscow.
